Is the remote disabler Google's evil design or a lame attempt to manage Wild West app market?

Google's Android has a remote kill switch. When Apple Inc. revealed that the iPhone is equipped with a remote switch that can be used to nuke unauthorized user applications, many iPhone users went in an uproar.

For subscribers anxiously waiting their pre-ordered G1 1 phones  - the first handset to run on Google's Android mobile operating system  - it will be well worth to note that the shiny new device they're about to get has a remote switch that search giant Google can use to disable or remove applications that"violate its developer distribution agreement." Incredulous? Read your terms of service.
