Recent news about the auto industry - about GM and Chrysler, in particular - have been all doom and gloom and nothing short of cataclysmic. From dwindling sales to job losses to dealer closings, and, recently, bankruptcies of Chrysler and GM. A fresh look at facts, however, reveals a slightly different story. Call it a bright side to the current deconstruction of the U.S. auto industry. Watch Mike Caudill's report and see which automaker is: - * leading in recent sales
- * most affected by the recent economic downturn.
- * greenest car company
You'd be surprised. Plus: Less is more - why GM and Chrysler want to trim down their dealer networks.
